She is moving to Minnesota to be near family. Once again, a local business that continues to support us is Seaside Plumbing, which chose SCVV to be the beneficiary of 50 percent of its dispatch fees for the month of February. Thanks to Seaside Plumbing\u2019s generosity, SCVV received $1,833. We are grateful for its support of our Village.<\/strong>\n<br\/><br\/>\n\n\n<strong>Do More 24.<\/strong> Our big event for March was Do More 24, a statewide twenty-four-hour initiative to help nonprofits raise funds, create awareness, and engage new donors. In twenty-four hours\u2014starting March 6 at 6:00 p.m. and continuing through March 7 at 6:00 p.m.\u2014we raised $4,277.40 in donations, exceeding our goal of $3,500. An SCVV Steering Committee challenge is included in our total; thanks to everyone on the committee for your generous support. Beyond our donations, we earned an extra $245.96 from Do More 24. SCVV was among nine hundred charities across Delaware involved in the fundraiser.\n\n<br\/><br\/>\n\n<strong>Northeast Seafood Kitchen Dine & Donate.<\/strong> Our April 15 Dine & Donate at Northeast Seafood Kitchen in Ocean View was another success. The restaurant was at capacity from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. SCVV will receive 10 percent from the evening, and we also received $500 in donations\u2014$250 at the restaurant and another $250 from an online donation. Thank you for your support. (See the story and photographs on this event above.)\n<br\/><br\/>\n\n\n<strong>Big Fish Grill Dine & Donate.<\/strong> Another Dine & Donate is coming on June 2 at Big Fish Grill in Ocean View, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This fundraiser will be generously cosponsored with Long & Foster.\n\n\n<br\/><br\/>\n<strong>Fins Dine & Donate.<\/strong> Our last Dine & Donate in 2025 will be on September 17 at Fins in the Marketplace at Sea Colony. Plan to join us to help SCVV.\n\n<br\/><br\/>\n\n<strong>Annual Fall Event at Cripple Creek Country Club.<\/strong> October 23 is the date for our Annual Fall Event at Cripple Creek Country Club.
